Supported Independent Living provides funded support for NDIS participants who need ongoing assistance with everyday activities while living as independently as possible. At Due Care Services, we deliver person-centred SIL supports that help participants develop life skills, make choices, build confidence and enjoy a safe, comfortable home environment.
What is Supported Independent Living?
SIL is an NDIS support that assists people with disability who require regular or ongoing support to live independently. SIL funding generally covers support workers who assist with daily living activities. It does not usually cover rent, groceries or general household expenses.
